DINNER IN THE WOODS
Please join us Saturday, May 4, 2024 for Dinner in the Woods, our annual event to celebrate and support IslandWood!
By taking environmental learning out of the classroom and into the living laboratory of the natural world, we deepen students’ knowledge, capacity, and confidence to make an immediate difference in their communities and for the planet. The impact that students and educators are having on our region, and the world, inspires us and is sure to inspire you as well!
The evening will be held on our Bainbridge Island campus and also broadcast online. We’d love to have you participate in whichever way is best for you!
Check out all the details about attending the event in-person on our Bainbridge campus or attending online here. Attending online is free!
If you’re attending the event in-person, consider staying the night in one of our beautiful lodges. Guest rooms can accommodate up to six guests. Learn more here.
Give your child the gift of time in nature and bring them to Kids Camp! Our skilled environmental educators will lead games and activities for children age 6 – 16. Kids Camp includes programming, dinner, dessert, and optional campfire activities at the Friendship Circle with parents and family members. There will be s’mores, of course!
If you have any questions or need help, give us a holler! The best way to reach us is at [email protected].
IslandWood acknowledges that we live and work on the ancestral land of the Coast Salish people, who have been stewards of this region's land and waters since time immemorial, and who continue to protect these lands and waters for future generations, as promised by the Point Elliott Treaty of 1855, the Treaty of Point No Point of 1855, and the Treaty of Medicine Creek of 1854.
While the majority of our work takes place on Suquamish (suq̀ʷabš) and Duwamish (dxʷdɐwʔabʃ) land, we also conduct programs on the land of the Snohomish (sduhúbʃ), Puyallup (spuyaləpabš), Muckleshoot (buklshuhls), Skokomish (sqoqc’bes), and S’Klallam (nəxʷsƛ̕ay̕əm) peoples.
IslandWood is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our tax ID number is 31-1654076.
