EEC CLASS OF 2024 FALL COLLOQUIUM

Join us in celebrating IslandWood’s Education for Environment and Community’s Class of 2024 graduate cohort in completing their first quarter! This is an opportunity to learn about the tremendous work our grads have done in their Fall quarter classes and to highlight their academic achievements thus far in IslandWood’s Education for Environment and Community’s graduate certificate program, in partnership with the nationally-ranked University of Washington’s College of Education’s Masters in Education degree program! Come ready to learn, ask questions, and celebrate the growth and learning of our esteemed scholars, educators, and community members!

Fall 2023 academic courses include

Social, Political, Cultural Foundations of Learning taught by Dr. Déana Scipio

While the majority of our work takes place on Suquamish (suq̀ʷabš) and Duwamish (dxʷdɐwʔabʃ) land, we also conduct programs on the land of the Snohomish (sduhúbʃ), Puyallup (spuyaləpabš), Muckleshoot (buklshuhls), Skokomish (sqoqc’bes), and S’Klallam (nəxʷsƛ̕ay̕əm) peoples.
