Born in Richmond, VA, Alexis quickly discovered her love for the environment as she grew up camping and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Upon graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the College of William & Mary, Alexis began her journey west to Southern California kickstarting her time in environmental education. Since, Alexis has guided high adventure programs for youth in the DC metro area and instructed inquiry-based field study programs at Mount Rainier Institute. During her time in and around Mount Rainier National Park, Alexis fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and the rich flora and outdoor recreation it contains. In her free time, Alexis enjoys making cookies, climbing mountains, and standup paddleboarding.

While the majority of our work takes place on Suquamish (suq̀ʷabš) and Duwamish (dxʷdɐwʔabʃ) land, we also conduct programs on the land of the Snohomish (sduhúbʃ), Puyallup (spuyaləpabš), Muckleshoot (buklshuhls), Skokomish (sqoqc’bes), and S’Klallam (nəxʷsƛ̕ay̕əm) peoples.
