WINTER ART EXTRAVAGANZA

December 14, 2019 @ 2:00 am - 4:00 am

Child holding up her art projects. They are two owls made our of toilet paper rolls.

Get creative with IslandWood and King County during a fun morning of seasonal art projects at the Brightwater Education Center in Woodinville. Why buy gifts for friends and family when you can make them?! We’ll use recycled materials from around the house and natural objects from the forest to create beautiful winter decorations, holiday ornaments, table centerpieces, and other festive art. Bring your imagination and join our resident recycled artists as we work to eliminate waste this winter.

Adult participation is expected. We want families to learn and work together! Although this event is recommended for families with youth ages 6-12, we are open to all ages. Please make a decision about your child’s ability to participate based on the following information: This event involves use of scissors, hot glue guns, tape and glue. Some activities require fine motor-skill and following instructions.
