We’re celebrating environmental education the entire week leading up to our annual fundraiser, Dinner in the Woods. Please join us! In our second class, learn about the water infrastructure of our region and the impacts of climate change on these systems.
We interact with water systems every day, but don’t often think about how the water on our streets and in our homes is connected to our regional ecosystem. Join Derek Jones, IslandWood’s Brightwater Program Manager, to uncover the often-hidden water infrastructure of our region and take a closer look at the impacts of climate change on these systems. This is a topic that we explore with 3rd – 5th graders and teachers in our virtual programs as well as in-person at local parks and at the Brightwater Center.
This class is designed for adults and children alike.
