About this Event
Parents and caregivers are the key to establishing a child’s early love of nature. Designed for 3 and 4-year-olds, IslandWood’s new Hand in Hand Nature Explorations series creates opportunities for little ones and their parents, grandparents, or caregivers to spend one-on-one time exploring, discovering, and making memories together.
Each week’s sessions are designed around a fun and seasonal theme, and include a short hike, story time, and activity or craft. (And, of course, an IslandWood cookie or two!)
Each themed session is offered on Tuesday mornings. Register for just one session, or join us for the whole series!

Please reach out to Mary Meier at [email protected] with any questions.
Health & Safety
To ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff, there will be a maximum of 11 families per session—22 adults and children in total. The one-to-one guardian to child ratio will help us ensure safe social distancing. We ask that all guests wear masks and complete a health attestation form upon arrival.
Accessibility
We work to ensure that all reasonable accommodations are in place so that everyone can fully participate and learn during their time on our campus. All indoor spaces and many of our outdoor spaces and field structures were built and are continually maintained to meet ADA code, adhering to WAC 51-50.
