Spring into action at IslandWood’s Festival of Frogs at Brightwater in Woodinville! Participants will learn about our local frogs, their calls, and habitats then head down to our frog-filled wetland to hunt for breeding frogs and their eggs.
Be sure to bring your rain gear, shoes appropriate for a light hike, and a headlamp or flashlight. This event is great for ages six and up, and always sells out, so hop to it!

Adult participation is expected. ​We want families to learn and work together! Although this event is recommended for ​families with youth ages 6-12, we are open to all ages. Please make a decision about your child’s ability to participate based on the following information: This event involves using a 30 minute presentation, off-trail exploration, navigating in the dark, using craft supplies, looking at identification guides, exploring safely near water, respectfully handling and moving around wildlife.
