In partnership with Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District, we are hosting a series of Conservation Work Parties this winter! We’re thrilled to be working at Blakely Harbor Park, where we bring thousands of children each year as part of our education programs with schools. Come help remove invasive species, spread mulch to discourage regrowth, and plant native species. This opportunity is well suited for children age 6+ who are comfortable using small hand tools and walking off trail or on uneven surfaces. Come for as long as you like – you don’t need to come for the entire two hours. No pre-registration required. Come connect with your community and help care for this beautiful area we’re lucky to call our neighbor. An event is also being held on March 11 if you can’t make this one!
