Talia brings 10 years of experience as an environmental science educator. She is a certified Wilderness First Responder and has taught outdoor education around the country for various programs including NatureBridge and the North Cascades Institute. Talia was born and raised in Northern Virginia and received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from The College of William & Mary. Her passion lies in helping school districts incorporate experiential and outdoor education opportunities into their curriculum. She founded her own hiking business, NatureWalks with Talia, which brings families, scouts and kids into the forest for guided tours and adventures.  In her free time, Talia enjoys playing the guitar, mushroom foraging, salsa dancing, learning languages, and backpacking in the mountains.
