Nathaniel Pieper is currently Senior Vice President – Fleet, Finance and Alliances & Treasurer for Alaska Air Group. Nat joined Alaska in September 2019 with responsibility for aircraft analysis, acquisition and financing, fleet planning, treasury, and airline partnerships. Nat has more than 20 years of airline experience in functions including international entity leadership with P&L responsibility, global alliances, strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and finance.
Prior to joining Alaska, Nat retired as a senior-level executive after 20 years with Delta Air Lines. His last role at Delta was Senior Vice President-Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, based in Paris, with responsibility for all commercial activities in the region.
Nat holds a BA degree in history from Duke University, and an MBA in finance, strategy and transportation management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He and his family reside in Seattle.
