Kellan grew up in Washington and credits nature walks with her mom as her earliest interest in the outdoors. As a student and employee of the University of Arizona, Kellan worked in Applied Anthropology. She unwittingly discovered a passion for teaching through an internship at an educational farm, and never looked back.
Since, she taught English in Taiwan, worked as a garden to table educator, and as an English tutor for adult learners online. She is excited to dig into ways of becoming a justice-oriented educator who embraces wonder.
In her free time, Kellan likes walking, writing, and petting cats.
