I am from Auburn, WA and am happy to be on the west coast again after being in Wisconsin for undergrad. During college, I was a tour guide at the UW-Madison Geology Museum. Between graduating in May 2019 and coming to IslandWood, I was an educator at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle teaching science to museum visitors as well as students all around WA with the Science on Wheels team.
As a Khmer-American woman in science, I aim to support and inspire all students to be confident, curious, and to find their joy. I love building community wherever I go and believe that learning happens everywhere all the time!
A few of my passions are: writing poetry and fiction, learning about fungi and bacteria, museums, and collecting cool rocks!
