Pronouns: she/her/hers

I am from Nipomo, California (Chumash land), and spent my childhood summers at an outdoor residential camp. Those experiences shaped my love of the environment and inspired me to pursue a career in directing my own outdoor education programs.

I came to IslandWood because I want to take my teaching beyond brick and mortar and inspire kids to be curious about exploring their natural environment. I want to grow to be a culturally relevant educator who is committed to bringing inclusivity and identity empowerment into my learning spaces.

In my free time, you can find me hiking or snowboarding in the Cascades or hanging out at Magnuson Park with my dog, Bori.
