IslandWood offers many ways for the community to participate in our mission
of stewardship. This overview presents the wide range programs available
for youth and adults.

Buildings That Teach (4
minutes)
A portrait of the built environment at IslandWood. We meet the architects,
the designers, and their "clients:" the children and the land.
Sharing My Journal (4 minutes)
A look at the 4-day School Overnight Program through the eyes of 9-year-old
students
from Bryant and John Muir Elementary Schools.
School Partnerships
Program (2 minutes)
An IslandWood graduate student visits his partner school, Bailey Gatzert Elementary
School, to see the community outreach projects that have grown out of the students'
IslandWood experience.
Teaching Stewardship (3
minutes)
A profile of IslandWood's Graduate Residency in Education, Environment,
and Community, and its extensions both on campus and in the community.
Good Night IslandWood (2
minutes)
At the end of the 4-day program, children talk in the lodge at night about
their favorite experiences.
