Individual Volunteers

IslandWood offers volunteer opportunities for persons of all ages, skill levels and interests. Individuals with diverse backgrounds in education, geology, architecture, medicine, art and many other vocations have found challenging, fun-filled ways to volunteer.

Group and Corporate Volunteers

IslandWood is a favored destination for groups who are looking for a significant volunteer experience in the outdoors close to Seattle. From beginning to end, IslandWood can set up a volunteer session for groups as small as 10 people and as large as 75. We shape the day to reflect the skills and interests of the group, ensuring a relevant and meaningful experience. Group volunteering opportunities include stream and site restoration, trail maintenance, restoration nursery and flora/fauna inventories.
