Songs at IslandWood

We have a lot of fun singing and moving to music at Islandwood.

Not only are we all born with some musical inclination, but our long term memories are linked to music as well. What this means for education is that music can be used as a powerful learning tool. To read more about how music engages both hemispheres of our brain, as well as our emotions, read The Powerful Link Between Music, the Brain, and Education.

You can follow the links below to view the musical score to a few of the songs we sing at Friendship Circle and Campfire, listen to sound recordings of these songs, or download PowerPoint files with the words for a "Sing-along" of these pieces.
