Overnight Camps

Campers will make new friends, learn new skills, and spend 6 days/5 nights in fun group activities such as:

• Team-building activities using our Teams Course
• Campfires at the Friendship Circle
• Special evening activities and programs
• Art & creative projects like journaling, print and papermaking, and music
• Explorations of the native flora and fauna on and nearby IslandWood property

Campers will eat tasty and healthy food prepared with love by our expert chefs. Each night will offer a restful sleep in our safe & cozy lodge, where every room has a private bath.

Check-in is at 3 pm on the opening day, and the whole family is invited to join us for a sharing time from 3:30-4:00 on the final afternoon of the camp.

IslandWood Sleep-Away Camp 

For children entering grades 4-7

Come spend an exciting, fun-filled week at IslandWood this summer. Connect with old friends and make new ones while exploring IslandWood’s 255-acre forested campus and practicing your naturalist skills. Experience music, art, nature and technology as you hike through the forest and discover the amazing creatures that live here. You will work together with other campers to complete team-building challenges, play fun camp games, and discover the treasures of IslandWood. Enjoy delicious meals prepared by IslandWood’s expert chefs and sleep each night in a cozy bed in the lodge. And don’t forget the best part: sharing stories, songs, and skits around the campfire!

Just for Girls!

Just for Girls I: For girls entering 4th-6th grade 

Just for Girls II: For girls entering 7th-9th grade NEW AGE GROUP!

Engage in the wonderful world of science through hands-on discovery and investigation at our camp made “Just for Girls.”  You will get to know your fellow campers in a non-competitive, supportive environment that combines fun, laughter, and engaging activities focused on the natural world.  You will have a blast hiking through our forest, searching for critters big and small, and discovering plants that live in the bog.  The staff is made up of strong and fun-loving female role models who have a passion for science, art, and the outdoors.  “Just for Girls” is a perfect blend of song, dance, science, and creativity that empowers girls to take part in the outdoor world!

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 30 days prior to program: full refund minus processing fee of $40 per cancelled camp. Cancellation 2 weeks prior to program: 50% refund of all fees. Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior or non-completion of camp: no refund.
