Tiny Critters 1/2 Day

For 4 & 5 year olds, and 6 Year Olds Entering Kindergarten
June 21-25
Tiny Critters is the perfect blend of fun educational activities that integrates movement, dance, song, art, and hands-on exploration of some of the smallest animals at IslandWood.  You’ll love exploring little critters through imagination, play and discovery.  Come experience these miniature wonders of nature!

Featured Creatures 1/2 Day

For 4 and 5 Year Olds, & 6 Year Olds Entering Kindergarten
July 5 – July 9 (Sold out), July 26 – 30 (Limited availability; please call)
Discover critters that crawl, leap, and glide through the forest. Investigate animals big and small, search for tree frogs near and far. Sing like a bird as you flap your wings and discover an animal and its home.   Each day of this camp will focus on a different creature found in our forest, and you will leave at the end of the week with favorite songs and games all about your new animal friends! 

Forest Fairy Tales 1/2 Day (Sold out)

For 4 and 5 Year Olds, & 6 Year Olds Entering Kindergarten
August 2 – 6
Did you hear that?  The trees are talking, sharing stories of the forest’s floor and animal folklore.  Discover the forest in a whole new way with new friends and expert instructors.  Buzz like a bee and act like a mouse scurrying up a tree.  Forest Fairy Tales introduces you to legends of the Northwest forest through stories, songs, puppetry, and art a-plenty! 

Green Thumbs and Art Galore 1/2 Day

For 4 and 5 Year Olds, & 6 Year Olds Entering Kindergarten
June 28 – July 2
Come spend time exploring the IslandWood garden, tasting scrumptious treats, planting seeds, and making artistic creations for all to see. Plant seeds, dig in the dirt, and learn how plants grow!  You will use the fruits, vegetables, and flowers from the garden for painting, weaving, and inspiring your own works of art.  Learn more about where your food comes from, and let your imagination soar while singing songs of garden folklore!

Make-a-Mess Art Camp 1/2 Day (Sold out)

For 4 and 5 Year Olds, & 6 Year Olds Entering Kindergarten
August 9 – 13
Kids, make sure you come to this camp in some grubby clothes because you will be making a mess each day with art projects big and small!  You’ll get to try many different types of art, both with traditional art supplies and materials found in nature.  Have you ever felt paint squishing between your toes?  Or created an edible masterpiece with food picked from the garden?  Get ready to experiment and have a whole lot of fun while making zany and wonderful creations with your fellow campers. 

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation at least 30 days prior to program: full refund minus processing fee of $40 per cancelled camp. Cancellation 2 weeks prior to program: 50% refund of all fees. Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior or non-completion of camp: no refund.
