Strawberry Jam

Strawbwerry jam

THIS RECEPIE SHOULD ONLY BE DONE UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION

 

3 pounds frozen strawberries pureed in a food processor

3½ Pounds Sugar

3 Tablespoons lemon Juice

1 pack of Pectin

 

 

 

Mix fruit puree pectin and lemon together and bring to boil in a big pot.

Whisk in sugar and bring back to a boil.

Do not let this boil over.

Boil for 5 min then take off heat for 15 minutes or until the pot cools down quite a bit.

Pour into a large shallow baking dish.

Cool the Jam overnight in the refrigerator.

Transfer the set & cooled Jam to a re-sealable container.
