Pizza Dough
This is the Dough we use for Student overnight visits. This makes 2- 12 inch Pizzas
½ cps. Water @ 95°-105°
¾ ts. Yeast
1 cp. Water @ room temperature
4 oz. Whole wheat flour
¾ cp. Olive oil
¾ cp. Honey
½ ts. Salt
1½ lbs Bread flour
Dissolve the yeast into ½ cp. of warm water and watch for it to bubble & foam.
This is called proofing it should take 10 min or so.
Stir in the room temperature water & whole wheat flour.
Cover the bowl & let the mixture sit in a warm spot for 2 hours.
It will bubble and rise.
Add the rest of the ingredients and knead the dough for 10-20 minutes.
It will all come together into a smooth and elastic ball.
Divide the ball in two.
Roll each part into a ball.
Coat each ball in olive oil or cooking spray.
Cover the portions with plastic wrap and let them rest..
Form into Pizzas.
Bake at 425° for 10 min.
