Chocolate chip cookies

1½ lbs. Room Temperature Butter

2 lbs. Brown sugar (4 ½ cups)

3 Eggs

3 egg yolks

1 Tablespoon Vanilla extract

1lb 14 oz. All purpose flour (5 2/3 cups)

1½ teaspoons Baking Powder

1 Tablespoon salt

2lbs. 3 oz. Chocolate chips (6 cups)

 

Combine & sift dry ingredients into a bowl and set aside.

 
 

 Cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.

 
 

 Beat in the eggs, egg yolks and vanilla.

 
 

 Add the dry ingredients and mix until well blended.

 
 

 Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

 

Scoop into tablespoon sized balls.

 
 

 Bake at 350° until done. (10-12 min.)
