Brownies
8 oz. Butter
12 oz. Semisweet chocolate chips
3 Extra large eggs
1 Tbs. Vanilla extract
1 cup Sugar
¾ cup A.P. flour
1 ts. Baking powder
¼ ts. Salt
Preheat oven to 325°
Butter and flour a Baking dish.
In a medium bowl, sift together 1 cup of flour, the baking powder and salt & set it aside.
Melt the butter & chocolate chips in a medium bowl over boiling water.
Allow to cool slightly.
In a large bowl, stir, do not beat, the eggs, vanilla and sugar.
Stir the warm chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and allow to cool to room temperature.
Fold in the sifted ingredients.
Pour into the baking sheet.
Bake for 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow to cool before cutting.
