Born and raised in Hong Kong, photographer Catherine Karnow is celebrated for her vibrant, emotional, and sensitive photographs of people and cultures. She has traveled the globe to capture a range of fascinating subjects, including Australian Aborigines, Bombay movie stars, and Prince Charles. But Vietnam is the country that has stolen her heart.

National Geographic Live

For the second consecutive year IslandWood will proudly sponsor the National Geographic Live! speaker series.

As the official Community Partner for the series, IslandWood teams with Benaroya Hall and the Seattle Symphony to bring entertaining and visually spectacular presentations by dynamic National Geographic explorers, scientists, photographers, and filmmakers to audiences in Seattle.
