If you tickle the earth with a hoe she laughs with a harvest.
- Douglas Jerrold
A community celebration of locally harvested fare! The evening begins with a fun educational reception followed by a sumptuous dinner and ends with a memorable campfire at the Friendship Circle. Indulge in appetizers baked in the new outdoor earthen oven and take a tour that highlights season extension and winter teaching/gardening. Learn and be entertained with a local, seasonal cooking demonstration. Discover the School Overnight Program kitchen garden, view the IslandWood Native Basket Collection and pick up traditional recipes, and learn about the Makah Ozette potato that has been cultivated in the Northwest for almost 200 years!
Individual tickets are $100 ($75 tax-deductible), and a table of 8 is $750 ($600 tax-deductible.)
