Come learn how these uniquely adapted mammals are more related to humans than mice. We’ll hike down to Mac’s Pond to watch local bats in a feeding frenzy over the water. Using some tech gizmos called bat detectors, we will hear the bats talking and find out why they have so much to say. Evening programs at IslandWood are always a treat, so don’t miss out on this high-flying nocturnal adventure!
*There is a $5/family suggested donation for all Enviro-Explorations programs.
*Baby-carriers or trail-appropriate strollers welcome.
*If you are a group (scouts, etc), please contact Christina Doherty at christinad@islandwood.org so we may best accommodate your group size. Thanks!
