Youth Learn What’s Going On In The World & What They Can Do About It

Join students from around the region for a profound inquiry into our global crisis and an inspiring opportunity to BE THE CHANGE for environmental sustainability, social and economic justice, and human wellness. BE THE CHANGE is an informative, highly interactive workshop which explores the defining issues of our times not as separate, but as interconnected issues. Lecture, group interactions, and outstanding media highlighting national and world leaders bring participants on a journey from global crisis to opportunity. Representatives from local non-profits will be on hand to discuss their programs and the role they play in the community. Students will have an opportunity to devote time to BE THE CHANGE in action planning with others to co-create the world they want.
For Grades 9-12
$10/student (dinner included)
