Island Press: US Rep. Jay Inslee: New Apollo Energy Project
The debut of a new speaker series in collaboration with environmental publishers/advocates Island Press features US Rep. Jay Inslee, a leading advocate for renewable energy who serves on the Energy Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming, and the House Committee on Natural Resources. Co-author of Apollo’s Fire: Igniting America’s Clean Energy Economy, Inslee will discuss the New Apollo Energy Project, which he says could revolutionize the production of energy, combat global warming, help break the country’s addiction to oil, and create tens of thousands of jobs
