IslandWood's Leadership, Stewardship and Sustainability Programs utilize the indoor and outdoor environments to create integrated sessions that allow corporations, institutions and organizations to accomplish their goals in supportive and inspiring settings. Our exceptional 255-acre campus is just a short ferry ride from Seattle. IslandWood is ideal for corporate meetings or nonprofit groups to come for a day or overnight. We provide a rich, natural setting to relax, connect as a team, and facilitate fresh new perspectives.

We designed IslandWood's Programs to comprehensively address our client's objectives, while interweaving the critical importance of leadership, stewardship and sustainability. We offer a variety of programs, all tailored to your specific needs.

Comprehensive Programs

- Team Stewardship One or two-day program designed to engage participants in integrated teambuilding sessions.
- Creating a Sustainable Future Program Two-day program designed to engage participants in effective and efficient strategic planning, visioning or both. Participants will be introduced to the “Four E”s of sustainability—education, environment, equity and economics. Participants will work within this context to create a sustainable future for their team or organization.
- The Leader as Steward Program Intensive, multi-retreat program designed to engage participants in a personal and professional journey that will explore the four levels of relationship for which a leader is a steward.
- Systems Perspectives One-day program designed to improve team performance and cross team collaboration through new understandings and perspectives of their current business system.
- Custom Programs Custom programs are co-designed with the client, to meet their time frame and their specific program objectives. Program elements, agenda and themes are chosen and created to provide a unique experience for participants and result in a quality end product. Custom programs may integrate teambuilding elements, natural systems perspectives, sustainability concepts, visioning, strategic planning or leadership development.
Enhanced Programs
IslandWood programming elements are seamlessly integrated with the client's existing session agenda, enabling participants to deepen their understanding and experience of the meeting content. Programming may include any of the Enhanced Program Elements listed. Each is tailored to meet the specific objectives of the program.
