Special Events
We conduct fundraising special events each year to generate revenue to support our educational programs for children.
We have two primary fundraising events per year:
Dinner in the Woods
Dinner in the Woods is our largest fundraiser of the year and is held the first week in May. This event alternates each year between being held in Seattle and on the IslandWood campus on Bainbridge Island.
Dinner in the Woods is an evening event consisting of a reception with small silent auction and a seated gourmet dinner with a short live auction. Suggested dress for this event is casual—leave your heels and tux in the closet and break out your jeans and fleece!
Circle of Friends
Circle of Friends, a weekend retreat for women held in October each year.
In addition to Circle of Friends and Dinner in the Woods, we will be adding some additional offerings to our special events menu for 2012. Stay tuned for more information!
